Start by checking the power steering fluid level and add fluid if needed. Also check that the belt that drives the system is properly tensioned on the pulley driving the fluid pump. If both appear OK, you will likely need a new pump. As for the CEL and TRAC lights, take the car to a parts store and they will read the codes generating the failure lights. You can then go about fixing the problems identified.

I’m having the same issue with my 2010 G6, I have to let the car warm up, then turn it off and then restart it hoping my power steering is working. Also i’m having trouble finding the fluid reservoir.
