My 05 explorer

Question type: General

Okay so I lost my truck keys and I don't want to pay
the $200 to get the new key so I took out my
ignition cylinder got to wear screwdriver soon I can
turn it over but it won't start do I need to bypass my
ignition switch or is there another method I can
use to do it until I have the proper funds to buy the
key and unfortunately the new ignition cylinder

Your causing more than $200 dollars in damage right now! Stop and take it in!!

Maybe you can purchase a new lock cylinder with a programmable key. You'll need a lock smith with the proper took to program the new chip key. It worked on my 99. Check the net.
