Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There's a clunk sound in the drivetrain when going from coasting to
accelerating (or vice versa) at low speed, say below 25 MPH. It's not very
loud, but noticeable, and happens more when the engine is cold. Is this
necessarily the transmission, or are there other drive train components that
might be at fault? The car has a 4 cyl engine, with front wheel drive only.

Yes, could be a CV joint in the front axle. Look to see if a boot is torn, you will see the boot having a wet appearance. if it had ben leaking the grease. Have the front axles checked.

We changed the axle cvc joint on the driver side and it's still knocking when driving down the road when I turn left Could it be the transmission mount
