When does the fan turn on in 220 degree in 2010 Chev Cobalt

I was driving the Cobalt in town and it went up to 220 degrees  when i stop and
then i go again it went down but it went up again and when i got home and i
pop the hood and the fan isnt running and the temperature roar up to 230  and
still not cooling down so i shut it off and i dont know what to do.My name is
Dwight Jensen i needs your help

Check your fuses and relays for your fan, if that doesn't help, you'll need a new fan.
