Everything is run and monitored by electronics. First step should always be to scan for trouble codes. After that you probably need to take it to a shop for an evaluation. Sometimes its as simple as a sensor of some sort, other times its indication of a more serious internal mechanical problem. If its mechanical its only going to get worse and probably more expensive too.
