I usually drive my vehicle for at least 200,000 miles and am considering a 2010 450hybrid Lexus? What can I expect from this hybrid engine and should a Lexus suv weather 200,000 relatively well?

be prepared to have that battery replaced several times, I dont see most of todays hybrids being long lasting cars. You can make them last but it's easier and more cost effective to just get a fuel effecient conventional car. Think about it this way, more parts = more things to brake. A hybrid essentially has 2 seperate drive systems. Great when new, when the technology improves they will be great. When I hear the word solid state battery I'd give it a shot.

I have never had to replace a hybrid battery in years of working in the dealer on any of the rx's. only 1 is a ls 600. They have a ten year warranty.
