car kicking back at me. Revving above 3k rpms when drving 65-80 mph

Driving along the highway, as soon as the car gets to 2k -3k RPMS the car will kick and the rmps go all the way up 4k and more, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated

That sounds like the transmission down shifting. If so that is normal when you are accelerating.
