Had the same problem on my 2010 Exp. Assuming you have automatic climate controls the first thing to check is your wiring connector that attaches to the blower motor speed control module. It's under the glove box on the passenger side. Mine had gotten hot and I had some melted plastic in that connection. I could actually wiggle the connection and get it to work. My solution was to order the blower motor speed control module, replace the partially melted connector that attaches to the speed control module, and while I was at it I replaced the blower motor itself just in case it was drawing to much current. Hope that helps

Right on. That worked. Apparently a purse, or briefcase pushed under the passenger side dash can temporarily disconnect the fan module control. Thanks

I have same issue on 2014 Expedition. Has anyone found out what causes the plug to loosen? Is it overheating due to draw and causing the issue?

I have a 2010 Exp EB and I had the same problem this morning. After reading comments a few minutes ago and i went out to my garage and started my truck and wiggled the wire harness and made sure it was connected and the blower came right on! Thank you guys very much! I'm gonna have to tell my wife to hold her purse in her lap from now on!! LBDAS!!

Same issue, replaced connector with one from Ford parts plus a relay from Autozone. Worked fine for about 5 months and now same issue is back and it is much harder to get to work by wiggling wires this time. Crimp on connectors tight too... Starting to think the blower motor must be drawing too much current BUT the connector isn't melted this time and everything still looks new and tight. AUGH!

I n FL for summer softball. Broke down with a different vehicle last year 3 hours in a 14 hour drive. Finished the trip with no AC. My wife freaked out when the front blower on my EL stopped working. Wiggling the connector fixed it. Thank you very much for sharing!

2011 Expedition Limited EL. Same issue with front blower not coming on. As soon as I grabbed the plug it started working again. Not too often that 90% of the comments are all in agreeance. Way better than replacing a $140 blower or a $90 resistor.
