yah....inspect everything...that harness was only held in with 'jury-clips' bet a slam would make it not work....hopefully by not grinding away the pigtail in the middle~
On your 2010 and newer vehicles, all tire sensor are in the tire as a separate sensor. If your hub bearing is bad, replace it. Unless they have changed the setup, it is a press-in bearing with the tone ring on the c/v axle. ABS light on showing code for that wheel, must replace sensor and harness. Check tone ring for cracks or presence. Bad ring? Replace c/v axle.
As for your tire sensor, Autozone has some replacement sensors from 30-80 dollars. Best bet, take it to a GOOD tire shop and have them run the wand/sensor on it to see if it is working before buying a new sensor. Will have to break down the tire to replace it anyway.
Yes, my inexperienced daughter who's still learning how to drive for the past year has hit the curb a couple of times. Could that cause a problem like that?
Yes, you could have far more problems if she (I assume) she hit one of the front tire. For its front wheel drive, drive shaft goes to trany.case. My question sir to you is did you have to replace rim and tire.? If not it might be that hitting curb. Have nothing to do with allegedly faulty bearing. If you did replace rim and tire I would inspect further if there is any damages to transmission. Now you have something to think about it. Don't replace anything and or assume it, until you are positive what is what.
No didn't Have to replace the tire or rim but there was some damage to the rim. What is a NERF (tm)?

it's somethin' so squishy that you cannot get into trouble with it....that's all~

it isn't just the rim...it's the whole shootin' match there ....the bearing ....the CV joint~ etc.~
Jedidiah had it right. replace the bad bearing. the front bolt in. the rear press in. and find out which tire sensor is bad and fix it also. the bearings go bad in these all the time its very common.
