Subaru Repair Shop

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello - I am back to Dc Metro area and looking for a trustworthy repair shop
that will be good with a Subaru (Forester 2010). I had to fix/repair the lower (i
believe) part of the engine past fall as the car was worth nothing before the
repair. It was 5k job. I have made the choice to keep but having read others
reviews and issues a bit hesitant to spend another 2-3k on repairs... just not
sure if it's anything serious like axle or major issues with anything else. It
seems to make a noise during turning left (ticking/clicking kinda noise) but
only when turning left. The car has about 91k miles on it. And feels a bit rattly
while driving.

There is a good guy up in Boston that posts here as TheSubaruGuruBoston. He might help you out. Can't say what his contact info is. The clicking noise you describe is probably just a CV joint.
