What to do about 2 engine codes?

Asked by Eulers_Boi Sep 26, 2020 at 12:57 PM about the 2010 Subaru Forester 2.5 X Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drive a 2010 Subaru Forester. I just dropped
1.8k at a repair shop yesterday to replace
both front wheels, both front wheel bearings,
both front side rotors, breaks, and calipers. I
drove 100 miles and then got a check engine
light, traction control off, and a flashing cruise
control light on. I used the onboard obd2 and
got two codes.

P0457 & C0057

What can I do to fix this? And can I use my
car lightly this weekend until I can see the
mechanic who just did the repairs?

1 Answer

The first code is an EVAP system problem, check the gas cap. The second is a vehicle dynamics control issue. https://www.autocodes.com/c0057_subaru.html
