I am look at a 2010 Mercedes S400 Hybrid Sedan RWD with 59,400 miles and a 2011 S550 4Matic with 77,800. Taking in account performance, maintenance and etc. what is the better purchase.

Drive both and tell us which one you like. They are two different vehicles.

Look back and see my answer. I vote none of the above. The hybrid is old and a new battery will require a second on your house and the other car is very, very expensive to maintain and repair.
