replacing the harmon kardon amp in a 2010 subaru outback

Asked by Guru9P7GZ5 Jul 11, 2022 at 01:30 AM about the 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My stereo has power (cd player works/radio works) but hasn't had sound for a
year! I am going to buy a used amp and replace it. However, the amp is under
the passenger seat. How complicated is it to get the seat out to replace the
amp? Or do I need to remove the seat at all to do it? Is there a video
explaining it? I haven't been able to find one.

Just replace the entire system with a Kenwood DNX integrated navigation system. They are fantastic, I have an older DNX893 system. Check these out.
