Question type: General

Do you think driving less annual miles per year is saving you money on maintenance and
repairs aside from routine oil changes,  etc.  which have to be done on a time or mileage
basis?

Yes, my wife's last car was a 2004 and it only had 45,000 miles, never had any issues with the car. We only preformed basic maintenance such as oil changes. Her new car has less then 10,000 and its 2 years old.

Thanks, so, you purchased the 2004 and only put 45,000 miles on the car? When did you sell that and why? What make and model was your old car? And, I see that you're only logging 5,000 miles per year? What kind of car is that and what year is that? As I'm retired, I don't drive as much as I used to, and mostly use the car on long trips. I use my 2009 Toyota Prius as a city car.
