Question type: General

I have some friends who are always looking for what they call a "unicorn" or
creampuff car , one that is 20 years old and has less than 50,000 miles.. They
all claim that it's far better than a 6 to 10 years old car with 75,000 to 100,000
miles..... It took me some time to get realize this , BUT, it's more about TIME
than mileage.... Do you agree??

either one can be a problem, but mostly time is a bigger factor - especially time OUT of use. components that aren't moving are a bigger problem than components that are moving, but wearing. Brakes, tires, lines and fluids are all going to decay moving or not, but when the vehicle is moving the problems are much more likely to be more obvious.
