2010 dodge avenger rx not shiftin

my car will work comepletly fine then i can park put
car in reverse and the car wont move then put in
drive wont move. i shut car off for a little bit it runs
fine goes in to gear easy  shifts fine ...I'm at a loss
someone help me please....
