2013 Dodge Avenger not starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger that’s been sitting
about 4-5 months and the last 2 months have been
pretty cold. I noticed the battery had died as the
buttons on the key didn’t work so I tried to jump
start it. I let it charge for 15 minutes while hooked
up to another car and all the electronics worked but
all the car would do is click or crank for 1-2
seconds then stop on its own. I think it may be the
battery is done for but I’m not 100% sure and I’m
sick of putting money into this car as I’ve had
nothing but problems with it. Anyone have any
suggestions?

I also noticed once I unplugged the car from jump starting it it started losing power almost instantly as the horn sounded very faint (i noticed this before the battery completely died, before jump starting)
