My 2010 Dodge Journey will not lock with either the door locks or key fob. When I push the key fob lock it beeps and sets the alarm. It unlocks fine and disarms the alarm. And the remote start works fine but doesn't lock the doors either. I can manually lock the doors but not the tailgate???

Let's go with the bigger question for all these auto makers why do they keep making junk for vechiles veses what they made in the 1960s and early 70's. Since the 1980s they started to make plactic junk and in and put it in vechiles, since the 1990s it gotten worse. It's outrageous what they want for plastic parts of as junk. It doesn't stand up more do in the Sub-Zero weather it breaks easily. push on a plastic bumper to move a vechiles you'll bust everything thing up. There is no place on many vechiles to even hook up a chain or rope to even pull on it. The auto want alot money for there plastic junk. It doesn't take much to rack up alot money in damage just for pushing a plastic junk vechiles with damage. It's CRAZY!
