What is a rattling chain like noise coming from the back of your car mean?

Asked by Alyssa Jun 12, 2020 at 10:36 AM about the 2010 Nissan Sentra 2.0 S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I have a 2010 Nissan Sentra. There is a chain
like noise coming from my left front or back tires. I
went to go get it checked and the mechanic said it
was my routers and or breaks so they changed and
added 2 new ones in the back. But it’s still making
this chain like rattling noise, as if metal is rubbing
against something and it gets louder the longer I
drive

Is it your heat shield under car around your catalytic converter? Parking brake shoes or linkage?
