Subaru Impreza engine light & cruise control blinking

Asked by Kfcyall Dec 10, 2019 at 08:17 PM about the 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Earlier today my car was running strangely and the engine
light came on, I took it to my mechanic and he replaced the
muffler. The car seems to be running normally again but
after driving about ten miles the engine light is still on and
cruise control is blinking. I've tried turning off cruise control
but it doesn't work. Someone told me that they may have
just forgotten to clear the codes, but I don't know much
about cars. Is this normal/can it be fixed easily?

1 Answer

I would take it back to the mechanic that did the work could be a easy fix may be as simple as just clearing the codes.
