You need an OBDII scan, to eliminate a ton of guesswork. But there is nothing wrong with the VSC, the ECU automatically shuts off VSC whenever a fault is detected... to prevent any non-driver input to any wheels, which is what VSC and TRAC does, applies brake or power to wheels to stabilize truck.
