you wont gain much if any thing, your small turbo is more than likely going to cancel out the minimal boost from the supercharger so you wont even notice a change and at that point the superchargers parasitic draw (power it takes the engine to turn the shaft) may cause you to actually drop horsepower
i dont know what kinda turbo set up you have or what kinda PSI your putting out but i know that most super chargers are a 5-10psi kinda thing, now if you were to say run one large turbo, and then a super charger i personally find that better than twins honestly, its instant power that doesnt give up till you let off the pedal
that would be stupid , why not just upgrade the turbo ....
the only upside to putting a supercharger on would be no turbo lag, there's a danish supercar called the zenvo st1 that has a 7 liter v8 that has a turbo and a supercharger and it puts 1104 horsepower at the wheels
i've got an 09 charger srt8 and was looking at superchargers and found a company called kenne bell, they do twin screw superchargers that can up completely stock srt8's from 515 rwh to 1026 rwh with no other modifications to the engine but the supercharger check it out yourself http://kennebell.net/KBWebsite/SC_pg/Dodge/layouts/Dodge.htm and the kenne bell superchargers are cheaper than the vortech ones
you need a rediculous transmission set up to handle that kind of power, either a big double disc clutch if its manual or a built automatic, i have a 3500 cummins and if the autos in the cars are built like the ones in the trucks then just adding that much hp will blow your transmission to bits, just some friendly input
yeah after 600 horse they put a shift kit on the auto and it works over 1000 horse
yea cause i know with my truck i added a tuner and blew the transmission apart on the 170hp setting i meen granted 170hp equals about 340ftlbs of torque in the diesel world, but i had to spend 5 grand for a ATS built trans it was rough haha
yeah but after you upgrade you can put lots of power to them eh
according to ATS the model i have is built for 2500ftlbs haha so yea
