ford f150 heating, air condition problems

Asked by Truckroller Dec 05, 2015 at 11:29 PM about the 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ford said my blend door problem was the actuator behind the glove box ,they showed me a schematic which shows the other two everyone, ( but me ), is having to replace as well, with my actuator being up against the firewall, my dash has to be removed an 8 hour job $1500.00 so I'm going to do this myself. Is there anyone out there that may have some added knowledge,I have viewed the you tube videos.

If its dual air and the driver or left side is at fault then the dash has to be removed to get to the lower motor. if its the upper or rh motor then it can be accessed by removing the center stack/radio without much trouble.
