I replaced the original rear rotors on my 2010 F150. They didn't just slide off as I would expect after removing the caliper assembly. They were held in with rivets, that obviously broke when I forcefully removed the rotor. I've never seen this before. What the hell are these doing behind the brake rotor.

Probably just there to hold the rotor up during assembly
