Low oil pressure

Asked by GuruD2KJ3 Mar 06, 2019 at 10:47 AM about the 2010 Volkswagen Passat Komfort

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2010 passat b6  I just changed the oil
normally I would run 0-20 full synthetic this time  I
used  5w30 and now I am getting the low pressure
light  could it be that the oil is too thin. The light
comes on after the motor is warm or when I left
out the gas .Going to pressure  test it today to see
if it's the  pump
