My 2010 Chevy Silverado Truck wont Crank over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello, during this cold snap, i went to start my truck to run an errand last night
and the truck would not crank over. It stated, service traction control and
service stabililink. I hear the relay on the drivers side but nothing to the
solenoid. Tried tapping the starter while my girlfriend turned the key, but no
change. Any Ideas?

The cold weather has probly killed off the battery. Most car/truck batteries last around 3 to 5 years. More than likely its time for a new battery since the truck is 6 years old.
All the lights look good, no dimness. Also tried jumping it, normally you would hear the other vehicle's rpm's rise due to the load of a dead battery but there was none.
Well extreme cold weather can plauge a cars electrical systems. I would still pull the battery and have it tested. Most autoparts stores will check the battery for free. Also you can check the battery terminal connections for good contact.
posted another answer but the page will not post it. Just get the battery checked along with a good cleaning of the terminals. Most auto parts stores will check the battery for free. Let us know what you find.
