A/c not working how to trouble shoot.?

If a/c fan isnt running at idle the a/c will only blow hot common issue with 06 and up rams some people clean it some people replace it some just replace fuse or relay and it works for mine I just beat the back of the fan motor will the truck was idling and the fan started right up and has come on everytime since. They can be temperamental if they get dirty
