Question type: Car Customization

Want my truck to sound louder (2012 ram 1500 5.7 hemi)
already have a magnaflow exhuast system but it’s not as
loud as I want it to be . Would hollowing out the cats (
don’t want to cut off because of engine light turning on )
and taking resenators off . I want to leave the muffler on
so it can give it a nice tone but need more opinions.

If you have known good cats, leave 'em be, you'll find you have fewer problems in the future. Cherry bombs are a safer bet, although these days, even altering something as simple as the exhaust can damage the engine without compensating for the lack of back pressure in the ECM. If you want noise, get an expensive sound system n crank up some Zeppelin, Kashmir to be exact, it's got a regular sizemic effect just like an idling engine, AND ...everyone will know you're there.
