Replaced radiator, now the a/c doesn't work

Asked by capncanuck77 Jun 16, 2020 at 12:55 AM about the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 TRX4 Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck was overheating turned out to be a crack in the
radiator. The a/c was still functioning even when it happened
though. Got it replaced, now the AC blows warm air. The shop
says they wouldn't have touched anything doing the radiator
but I don't want to get the run around. Any pointers would be
great.

they shouldn't have had to touch the AC System, If you have an Pep Boys where you live they do a free ac check. it's a pretty basic check and they just check to see if your system is holding pressure or you could call around and see if anybody else does free checks. Being a Formal service manger i can tell you things do go out while cars are at a shop and sometimes its nobody's fault.
