2011 Hyundai Sonata Wouldn't Shift, Now Won't Start

Asked by Karsh19 Aug 22, 2019 at 06:29 AM about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday I was accelerating to enter the
freeway in my 2011 Hyundai Sonata and the
car would not shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. The
check engine light came on for half a second,
then the rest came on and I realized the
motor had died. It would not restart and I had
it towed to my house. I checked the codes
and got a P0560 code which can be an
assortment of things. I checked all the fuses
and they were all good. Still will not start, just
clicks. If anyone has experience with this
issue and knows a possible cause please let
me know.

I would also like to add, that when I try to start it now, it clicks one, then clicks in rapid succession.
