2011 Hyundai sonata 2.4 automatic won't start

Asked by Tony Jan 05, 2017 at 08:30 AM about the 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Hyundai sanota and I hate this car!!!
Nothing but problems. First the battery...no big
deal. Then headlights keep going out. Next the
starter. Replaced it for a small fortune and worked
fine. Two days later...lights come on, but turn the
key....nothing. Tried a jump...no success. So I was
reading this forum and said what the heck...I put it
in neutral (it's an automatic) and it started right up.
I am so tired of this money pit lol. I notice it always
happens when it's cold.

Possible the neutral safety switch, check the connection you could have salt on it and or snow, it's located under the car on the transmission.
