Question type: Maintenance & Repair
We replaced the starter on the car. Now it won't do
anything as far as trying to start it. All the lights
come on in dash and all interior lights come on but
car doesn't even try to turn over

make sure the batt.is charged and terminals are clean and tight , all those elec. connections have to make good contact , the starter grounds to the motor , you disconnected the batt. to do it and should have used a memory saver so you may have a problem with that , scan for codes ,

I'm having a similar problem. Replaced battery and tried to start. Press the brake pedal, push starter button, nothing. But when I release the brake pedal dash lights come on gauges cycle, but no start.
