why does my 2010 Kia Rio L S, accelerate when I hit the brakes? It has done this either when backing out of my driveway or when shopping at lights. I hit the brakes and the car accelerates.

I was being out of my driveway,u hit the brakes and my car accelerated with
the engine revving up.I had to put it in neutral and pull the emergency brake

Check the brake booster check valve. If this valve is bad will allow air from brake booster to be pushed back into engine when brakes are applied

i WOULD MAKE SURE THAT YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT FULLY OF THE THROTTLE SOUNDS SILLY BUT IT DOES HAPPEN IF YOU PIVOT FROM ACCELERATOR TO BRAKE YOU COULD STILL BE HALF CATCHING BOTH PEDALS? JUST A THOUGHT:)
