Are there any late model Targa and Coupe Owners with an opinion on body stiffness of late model (2010,2011) Targas

Asked by J2intex Feb 21, 2011 at 08:31 PM about the 2010 Porsche 911 Targa 4 Coupe AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am considering my first 911 purchase and really like the Targa glass roof style, but I am concerned about the body stiffness or rigidity of the car. Are there any owners out there who might have driven both and have an opinion on the Targa stiffness? Thanks for any advice.

Which Targa C4S or C4? I have always liked the Targa. I have driven several over the years. You will notice the additional weight on the track. Not really on the street. On back roads with the roof open it is fantastic. On body stiffness you will not really feel it. It doesn't have cowl shake like older cabrios. As to noise with the roof closed it is coupe like.
