2011 Mustang Headers and exhaust

Asked by Oceanmedic17 Jun 07, 2018 at 01:16 PM about the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2011 Mustang V6 that was given to me. I took it to
an exhaust shop because I noticed an issue. They said the
headers rusted and cracked. They are BBK 1.75" long tube
headers with catted X pipe. I need to replace the system
but don't really have $1,000+ to dump into it. Any idea on
how to get my Mustang back to good running order without
spending a fortune? Is there a system besides the LTH and
X pipe that is more cost effective? I have spent hours pn
google trying to figure it out. Please dont ridicule me i just
need help. Thank you in advance.

Find a set of replacement headers or do as F_O_R suggested.
