HELP WITH 2011 FORD FLEX TITANIUM!!!!

hello i recently have bought a gorgeous 2011 ford flex titanium from florida for a great price and low
miles. this is all great except for 1 problem- i live in california. what i have come to find out is that
because the car is under 7500 miles, it is considered a new car and must meet certain impossible
emissions. i have thought about several things such as changing the sticker that says "not for sale in cali
does not meet emission"(won't work). everything seems to not work.  but i have thought of one thing that
may work.  drive the car around to 7500 miles, "sell" it to my wife and then register it with 7500 miles on
it. i do have a month to drive and put the miles on it before it is illegal. if you see any problems in this
scheme please let me know and it would be greatly appreciated
