P0305 on diagnostic- mechanic says everything looks fine. Why then?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What else can it be?  Whatever it is, is making my remote start NOT start my
car.  Is that possible?    Thinks I should take it to a dealership :( ($$$$)  Any
help greatly appreciated.

That is a #5 cylinder misfire. I doubt it has anything at all to do with the remote start.
