Tire pressure censor. Reset after tire change w\o a tool

Asked by Sunshine Jun 18, 2022 at 05:07 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to change the tire on my 2011 Chevy traverse
and now it says I need to service my tire pressure
system. I don't know if you have to unhook anything
or if something didn't get put back together right.
How do I reset it if I don't have that tire tool that all
the videos show

If the TPMS sensor, in the tire, is bad it needs to be replaced by a shop. But if the system just needs to be reset you can usually do that through the radio on a GM. Go into the menu on the radio and scroll through until you see the TPMS system. Hope that helps! Jim
