water sloshing drivers side

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
There is water sloshing on the driver's side of the Jeep grand cherokee 4x4 larado, 2011,
after it rains. Does not sound like it is in the door, sounds like the foot board or threshold
area. I have read some info on passenger's side and the battery casing but this is the
driver's side. Can you help? Jill

I have the same vehicle. Had the same sloshing problem. There was water under the drivers side seat. said it came from a leak in the air conditioner drain hose. Hope this helps.

I have a Dodge Durango Citadel and I had the same problem but on the passenger side. I found that it is not the AC drain line but it is an area that catches water from the tires as you drive when it rains. It took me two days to figure it out. There are three rubber plugs two are the size of a quarter and one the size of a dime. Once I removed them. All of the water came out.
Hello, where was the location of these rubber plugs?
It can be a very easy fix that takes about 2 minutes. Just have to pull a rubber grommet under the floorboard and it drains out. There is one rubber grommet on the driver's side and two rubber grommets on the passenger's side. Check out this YouTube video... https://youtu.be/abo56WPM_Q4
all very helpful. But plug under drivers side is hidden under a shroud. Getting if off isn't too hard. Getting it back on- very difficult. Any reason it's got to be on in the first place? why not just let it drain ?
THE MOST COMMON ANSWER IS THE OVERFLOW TUBE FROM THE AIRBOX. THE TUBES GET BLOCKED AND WITH AGE THEY ROT AND FALL OFF. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CARFUL CLEANING THESE TUBES. YOUR BETTER OFF GETTING SOME ONE TO REPLACE THE COMPLETE TUBE
