Oil gauge

I have a 2011,audi Q5, .2.0..my oil gauge came on saying
low oil.( picture of oil can)..but my  dashboard  when l click
on oil level, says "please  reduce oil " what do l do.

First of all you can purchase a dipstick on line or at a parts store. Next the problem with the oil light actually has to do with the hood latch switch, check with a dealer for the updated version of the switch, A lot of dealers want to replace the entire hood latch but you really only need the switch and you can do it yourself.
