bought 2 weeks ago, what would be a good brand choice?
- Costco recommended Brightstone which is good but over my budget,
- I drive to school to work every day in L.A.
- I also wonder if I should choose a regular tire or must an RFT tire,

You get what you pay for. So I recommend something that is built for long distance. And if you want an RFT but you have a budget just get good regular tires.

Thank you for the great advice!! I might be wrong and very ignorant, I did a bit research in America's Tire today. I feel the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 (225 /45 R17 91W SL BSW) seems good in Tread Grading (560) and Traction Grading(AA), and, the price with promotion seems also competitive around $100.

see the attachment, - I m not sure if I must choose an RFT for my car yet, how much longer they can run and how much more endurance they would be compared with a regular tire..?
