Can Ya'll ID these BMW brake parts

Asked by BQS4 Oct 18, 2010 at 10:19 AM about the 1977 BMW 3 Series 320i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I know I'm going to catch a little flak from you BMW guys, but, a buddy of mine used calipers and rotors from a BMW 320i series, supposedly from about 9/77 But, he did it so long ago he can;t remember the parts numbers. We're using this set up on Opels (again sorry),  but, I'm having problems ID'ing the caliper. The rotor is internal vented, and it's for the 4X100mm bolt pattern. Can ya'll ID the rotor and caliper numbers for rockauto.com? Any and all relpys can be directed to bqs4@yahoo.com
Thanks in advance for ya'lls patience.

Well I've seen people doing brake upgrades for older Mercedes using Volvo parts. Or converting the BMW 540i with a small block Corvette engine.
