BMW parts confusion

Why is it every time I go to search part online
for my 2006 BMW 323i it always shows me
1999 2007 2008 2009 and so on But never
tells me the part is compatible with my 2006
so I’m really confused. Is this because 1999 to
2006 parts are all compatible with each other?

You have to use the right online parts catalog in the country you are in. In the US the 2006 BMW didn't come as a 323i model. Where are you located at?
