my cts 2006 starts and then shut off

my cts was running perfect , I rotated the tires and replaced the tire rods, attempted to start and it did start and shut off after 3 seconds. gas tank is half , NO CODES REGISTERED .

When everything else fails ,,, disconnect the positive battery cable for 10 seconds then reconnect .. it will clear any anomalies that may be lurking in the ECU, Use your spare key ,,, the battery inside your key may be bad Make sure you don't see "security" displayed /// a sign of a security issue is it will start then run a few seconds then quit
It could be your purg sencer my Cadillac cts was doing that that's whT is was
Check vaccuum leaks....air intake (black accordian 'hose' going right into engine) A screwdriver to tighten up the band
Exact problem with my 05 CTS....Fixed. It was the air intake hose..cant miss it. Right in the front, black accordian hose going right into engine. Mine came disconnected. Opened up the band, put it back on, tightened it off. Took care of the check engine light too

Got a question 2004 CTS I was driving it and I started looking on my dashboard all my gauges we're all down from my gas tank needle to my temperature needle car was running fine I thought maybe was going to shut down but it did not plus my air condition a person wasn't running I noticed I was getting warm air from the vents
