what is one with 60K miles worth?

Depends on equipment and conditions, and location. A loaded good condition example with a standard would be worth about $2800- $3000 in western Canada.
Are you buying or selling? The condition of the e30 makes a huge difference, along with the color. What seat are in it? How does it run? Like James said, $2800 is a good place to start. If the paint is original and the body is solid, and the AC works, then maybe upwards of $4500. If you are selling, the BMWCCA classifieds are a great place to list it, especially for collectors.
Thanks for the input guys. I'm considering selling. It's in great shape, all original paint etc. Garaged underground for 20+ years. New rubber of couse. Runs like a champ. Color is champagne, leather seats, perfect A/C. Right out of a time capsule.
If it was any other color than Champagne, I would have been thrilled for you. Tan leather as well? You may also look at taking it to a Con Cours show and put a small For Sale sign on it for any nibbles. That's what I would do anyway. Good luck!
I'll stick to my range. Location has as much to do with it as condition. You haven't mentioned where you are. U.S. will be lower value than Canada, east coast less than west. As far a colour, I had a 1990 champaigne 325i, it was not the colour I would have chosen, but buying at auction you don't have many options.
Yeah, beige is down on the list (tan leather as well,) but does it make that big a difference? I'm in L.A. with lots of shows around, so maybe I'll try Michael's suggestion. Thanks for that.
You are quite welcome. Let us know what happens. Good luck!
A pristine example with the 5 speed and full load in LA could pull high 3s.
