Why does my car just cut off while driving?

Asked by needvehicleadvice Jun 15, 2017 at 09:34 PM about the 2006 Cadillac DTS Luxury I FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought the DTS with 100,000 miles, did a full tune up haven't had had any
problems or warning lights come on.  Over past couple of months 4 times I've
had the car just cut off. A couple of times it was while idling, then tonight
turning left through an intersection.  Each time it would crank back up
immediately but coming through the intersection with my children in the car
scared me.  Any idea or recommendations?  Thanks so much
