Should I repair after accident?

Asked by anniebmw Jun 02, 2009 at 03:14 AM about the 1992 BMW 3 Series 325i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1992 BMW 325iC was hit on driver-side front left, considered totalled.  107,500 miles on it, no previous accidents. Should I fix or let it go?  Headlights seriously smashed.  Probable twisted frame from impact, or do you think it could still drive straight?  I love this car and only had it a week before the big bad suburban missed its stop.

Get an estimate. Mechanic can tell you if frame is bent. If it's bent it's probably best to move on. Anytime I hear "totaled" it's usually best to jsut look for the next deal. Good luck and glad to hear you're not hurt!
