I own a '97 318Ti. Does anyone know where I can find a performance chip on the internet?

Back in the days when I was in the bimmer world, some people swore by Jim Conforti ECU reflashes. They came in a plug-in module, that you connected to the diagnostic port of your car. Don't waste your time/money on those "performance chips" sold on ebay. I'm not sure if they make it for your current model and year, give it a shot at bimmerworld . com. Typical gains for a 95 318 where 11hp @ 5500 and 19ft-lbs trq @ 2500. Rev limit for that model was raised to 6900.
