wont start has to be jumped off

everytime i cut the truck off have to jump it in order to get it to start i noticed
the break light dont cut off after i apply breaks that has been happening since
i got the truck but now something is draining my battery just put a new battery
on it

???? first put a new battery in it if it failes under a load test.
