Brake indicator light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every once in a while the brake indicator light
comes on. When it does, I cannot accelerate and
the car begins to shake really badly. All fluids are
good. Any thoughts?

European auto's have sensors on the brake pads,could be a faulty sensor.
